Public art for pvd 

This area just off Interstate 95 is highly visible both to North and South traffic approximately 1/2 mile from the Big Blue Bug. This is an ideal location for The City of Providence to establish a landmark that promotes the City and celebrates its community.

Interstate 95 in Providence, RI carries more than 220,000 vehicles per day according to RI Department of Transportation. This is a highly visible location from both North and South bound.

RI ICON - BIG BLUE BUG

This icon has been featured in movies like "Dumb & Dumber" and is recognized Nationally. The proposed public art at Swan Street is just 1/2 mile South of the Big Blue Bug.

Because of the size of the murals, it has been estimated to cost approx. $40,000-$50,000 for these murals to be painted. The location is Swan Street in Providence and the owners are offering this space at no cost.

The Swan Business Park wants to offer this space to the City of Providence!
